Fees/Insurance

Insurance

Currently, we are a cash pay provider and do not accept health insurance of any kind. You are fully responsible for all fees incurred (see below for detailed fee structure). However, we are committed to providing our patients with the necessary support documentation to submit for reimbursement (if available).

Please note: reimbursement process and rates differ by plan. Therefore, we neither warrant nor guarantee reimbursement from your insurance provider. Additionally, be aware that fees reimbursed by your insurance provider will likely differ from the fees you incur.

Payments
Payments will be automatically processed at the time of each visit. All major credit cards are accepted.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments
The Lighthouse of Frisco requires 2 business days' notice for any cancellations. Failure to adhere to this notification period or missing a scheduled appointment without notice, you will be charged the full price of the appointment.

Privacy
Matters

Insurance companies often require psychiatrists to provide a mental disorder diagnosis, share updates on your diagnosis and disclose your progress. We believe in protecting your privacy.

Control Over
Services

Accepting insurance means that insurance companies decide how much we are paid for our services. By operating privately, we can focus on offering the best care without external constraints. We are able to give you the care you deserve without the constraints of third party rules.

Understanding
Your Coverage

We encourage you to explore your insurance policy's mental health services coverage and how to access any out-of-network benefits before starting therapy. Our providers are out-of-network for all medical insurance companies. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, we will be happy to assist you by providing you with receipts and diagnosis codes to provide your carrier for reimbursement. However, patients are responsible for submitting their own claims if they choose to do so. Reimbursement is not guaranteed. Please note that insurance companies do not reimburse charges for missed appointments or administrative fee.
